Welcome to Heppner’s Legacy Homeschool Resources!
Run by Homeschoolers for Homeschoolers
Thank you for visiting Heppner’s Legacy Homeschool Resources. If you’re a repeat
visitor you’ll notice a few changes. Our name and logos had grown too large, too
numerous, and too complicated, so we decided to streamline. Our new name is still
familiar, but shorter. Some have asked us what "Legacy" refers to. First, it is
intended to honor the founders of this ministry, the Heppner family. This really is
a legacy which they started more than twenty years ago. Second and perhaps more
importantly, "Legacy" refers to what we strive every day to help you achieve in your
children. (Psalms 127:3-4)
We also have new logos. Prominent are apple, cross, and book images. The apple has
clear educational inferences. The centered cross tells of our core values and
worldview. The book represents both the Bible as our foundation, and education as a
whole. We hope you like our new look! Rest assured our calling remains the same:
"It is our Ministry and Mission to help you Succeed in the Comprehensive
Education of Your Children."
New Products - "Here we grow!" Since our last e-newsletter we’ve added more than

Conference News - "Here we grow, again!" We’ve felt led to expand the number of
conferences we’re planning to attend in 2008. This year, in addition to North Dakota,
Minnesota, and Iowa, we’ll also be traveling to Nebraska and Missouri, and we’re
adding a second conference in Minnesota. Please
click here to see our full Conference Schedule, and our latest
store hours, which will be reduced around these dates. We hope to see you during
our travels!
And Then There Was One - Late last fall we heard that a long-standing homeschool
resource store in St. Paul, MN was moving to Florida. We were blessed to get to know
the owner of "By Way of the Family" and her family these past couple of months, and
help them with their relocation. They were a big help to us too. What this means,
as far as we’re able to tell, is that Heppner’s Legacy is now the only store in the
entire state of Minnesota which is dedicated to homeschool resources. We’d like to
extend a heartfelt welcome to the homeschool families previously served by
"By Way of the Family", and we look forward to meeting many of these folks in person
as we attend MACHE and MCHEC later this year, or when they visit our store.
Nancy’s Notes - The New Year has arrived, winter is in full swing in Minnesota,
and the conference season is just around the corner. Do you feel as if you just started
the school year and can’t believe it’s flying by so fast? Or, does it feel as if it is
never ending from day to day? Be encouraged that spring will come, and there’s still
a satisfaction deep inside that you are following God’s call to give this time for
your family.
Several times in the past two weeks people have mentioned to me how there have been
times when they’ve felt that the only recent accomplishment they’ve had in their
homeschooling was the development of character and family relationships. Sometimes
it’s hard to not have something measurable like math scores to keep you motivated.
But none of these moms look back with any regret on those seasons. God’s character
instilled in our children is one of the greatest gifts that we can give them.
As always, if you have questions about your schooling or any of our products, or if
you are looking for something in particular that you don't see on the website, feel
free to call us or drop by the shop. That is why we're here.
Blessings,
Brad & Nancy Bjorkman
