Time must be budgeted just like money - We must determine the difference between the fixed - what we must do - and the discretionary - what we would like to do and set our priorities. This workshop will be filled with practical tips and encouragement for everyday living as a homeschool family. Areas covered include understanding your calling, relationships, schooling, household clutter & cleaning, and general household management. Attendees will leave with practical and applicable tips.

Homeschooling Multiple Ages - Miriam Heppner
Friday, 4:00     NEWLY ADDED!   (February, 2008)

How do I get it all done? How can I teach multiple subjects to multiple children for multiple days each week? Miriam Heppner, mother of 17 (No, that’s not a typo!), will share with you her best tips for most effectively homeschooling children of different ages simultaneously. Multi-age learning can be a delight and draw your family together. Let Miriam’s 24 years of homeschooling experience encourage and help you to get there.

Meal Planning for your Home School Family - Nancy Bjorkman
Saturday 1:30    PLEASE NOTE TIME CHANGE

Explore the reasons and how-to’s of once-a-month cooking and several other methods of meal planning. Save time, money and energy while enjoying quick, healthy meals. Once you’ve tried it, you’ll wonder why you waited.
This workshop will explore many ideas for managing the daily chore of feeding your family. The talk will include the benefits and methods for bulk cooking. I will teach about the savings seen in time, energy, money, stress levels and nutrition, as well as the increased enjoyment in sharing hospitality with others.
