Originally published in 1902, this has been revised and edited by Cyndy Shearer of Greenleaf Press. It is a first grammar/composition text for 2nd grade students (or older reluctant writers). It includes narration, oral and written composition, enough grammar necessary for the writing process, memorization assignments and practice assignments. Wonderful pictures draw the child into writing. Simple and fun.
