Note: Most people are happier with the format of the Ultimate Series from Easy Grammar than with the 6th or 7th grade Daily Grams. In the 6 & 7, the format is COMPLETELY review with almost no teaching points to remind the student of the rules they are implementing on the page. If your student actually knows all of the rules for capitalizing, punctuating, etc, maybe they don't need to be doing these books but rather implementing their understanding through writing. If they DO need a good review of these concepts, then the Ultimate Series will be better as the publishers have inserted teaching points into the lessons to "re-teach" these concepts to the student before asking them to implement them. The format is the same as the Daily Grams series. Any 6th or 7th grader should be able to work in the 8th grade Ultimate Series book.
