Dangerous Book for Boys

The Dangerous Book for Boys has been a best seller in Britain. Its authors, brothers Conn & Hal Iggulden, have just published the American version, and it's a hit! Their premise is that boys are still boys in this generation as in the past, and they need opportunities to be just that, boys.

Things you'll find inside the covers include
5 Knots Every Boy Should Know
Making a Battery
Codes & Ciphers
US Naval Flag Codes
Skipping Stones
Making a Go-Cart
Famous Battles
Secret Inks
Sampling Shakespeare
and the list goes on.

This is one book that every boy in your life should have the opportunity to enjoy. It might even be the dad in your home!

NOTE: We did discover that this book has one half page that includes a description of role playing games such as Dungeons and Dragons as well as well as a "Half a billion years ago" reference when talking about fossils. We've also had it pointed out to us that in the 11 things every boy should have in his pocket talk, the Swiss Army Knife mentions, "They are useful for jobs requiring a screwdriver, removing splinters and opening bottles of beer and wine, thought this may not be a prime consideration at this time." Some families may find this unacceptable, others may choose to overlook it, use a marker to black out a line, or to use glue stick between two pages.
